His dexterous hands were taught art from an early age winemaking, but it was his generous heart that made his wines truly special.
In addition to grapes, Janko believed in the importance of sharing. His Wine Cellar was a pleasant retreat where friends and neighbors gathered to enjoy not only his wines but also the warmth of his company. janko saw wine as a bond that unites people, a tool for creating friendships and celebrating life.
Today, Janko is remembered not only for his excellent wines, but also for the legacy of kindness and hospitality he left behind. In the picturesque town of Godnje in Slovenia, Marija and her daughter Marta passionately devoted themselves to the production of wine on the family vineyard. Generation after generation, they perfected the art of vinification, nurturing each vine with care and love. Their relentless dedication soon earned them recognition in the region, with important regional awards celebrating the exceptional quality of their wines. Despite the challenges, Marta and Marija found in their work a deep connection with their land and a special relationship between mother and daughter, a tradition based on love and devotion to their art and family legacy.
